Since i installed Leopard, skype makes the entire desktop quicksilver dual k CPU system crash if I attempt to use video or adjust video settings under preferences. Skype won't even start on mypismo with Tiger installed and maxed with memory. Any ideas? Thanks, John
 
Do you have macam http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/ installed? Drivers are continually being updated, so make sure you have the one that is appropriate for both your version of Leopard and your model of webcam. Note too the warning about trying to use the camera in more than one application at a time.
 
Actually, I found that the Miglia Alchemy dv card was the problem. I took it out and removed all of the software, and it works just fine now. Thanks for your help. John
