SLOW ibackup

Hi ive been using ibackup and is a great piece of software except that it is extremely slow. Just that especific program beacause all other applications are super responsive. In ibackup it takes me a really long time to mark all the options. It is really slow and unresponsive. i have installed OS X twice in my macbook and in both systems runs slow. I dont know if it is something normal or something else is wrong. Tried on OS X 10.4.6 and 10.4.10. The system is a macbook 2gb 120gb core 2 duo
 
Do you mean Backup? And to your iDisk? The iDisk has always been slow as molasses, years and years. I no longer use dot Mac.

If that is the case, there's not much you can do about it ... but Backup can also backup to media, another folder (like in Shared) even an iPod. Not that it's the swiftest backup application ever.
 
sorry, I did not explained myself correctly. I use this app. I need an application that can backup everything except the system. So ibackupis the solution but it is too slow. And btw, the backup of this program is saved on the hardrive. but I will be upgrading to leopard in a while so I will be using time machine.
 
Okay, well, you could try a fresh copy of iBackup ...and delete its preferences file or plist first. If it's still slow ... try some other backup apps. See what's highly rated on MacUpdate, I find their ratings and reviews more helpful.
 
yes I have tried other several backup appz but the only one that I like is ibackup, except for its slowness. But I guess I will have to make up my mind and try other solutions,
