they sonnet guy told me to load my OS9 software cd that i had when i first bought the computer about 5 years ago. so i did a clean install of the OS9 software exactly as he suggested. but then i had no idea how to get the updates to get it to OS9.2. because i was in the new operating system and couldnt connect to the internet. i would have had to reconfigure everything. so i tried going back to my OSX desktop but couldnt. the OWC guy tried to help by telling me to press "option" while restarting, but the OSX option was not there when i restarted. only one option was there, to go back to the OS9 desktop(it didnt say OS9-it was just a little disk icon and an arrow). so he told me to reinstall OSX. so i did and am currently doing all the updates and such to get OSX back to how it was before.
i'm stuck though. how can i get OS9.2 on there to update the firmware?
