I use an OS 10.4.5 Smart folder to search the hard drives of the Macs and Win Server 2000 that I have on my ethernet LAN for files/folders that contain a specfic job number. This is how I collect the files needed for archives when a job is done. This has been working OK until recently when I noticed that the search of the hard drives is only finding files on the Win 2000 server. The search does not find files on the Macs any more. I did just recently upgrade the OS to 10.4.5 from 10.4.3 and wonder if that might be the cause. Does anyone have an idea about why these searches might stop working? Does anyone know a better way to find files/folders on the intranet? Thanks......
