"Smart Playlist"

Hey there,

Forgive me if this is already an option.

It is possible to make a playlist in which, you have Song A, then Song B, then Song C, then Song A again, but, not just as copying the song twice?

Say, the playlist goes like this: A B C D A E F G A, can I have it so, instead of copying A twice, it just plays from the original song?

Not that I know of. But why not just put the song there 2x?

If you want to set up a bunch of regular playlists, then you can make a smart playlist that lists those. It'll display a song more than once in that case. But it's easier to just make a regular playlist with the songs.

Well, it's on the iPod Shuffle, and I want to minimize the space used by music, as much as possible.

If I understand correctly, you can do it by either A) Dragging any track from another playlist into your target playlist as many time as you want, or B) Holding down the Option key while you drag a song from your target playlist to another point in your target playlist. You'll have the same track (linked to the same file, and all the same data) listed as many times as you want in the same playlist.
