smb trouble after power outage

i have a small network with 3 pc's running windows 7 along with a printer share and my macbook pro running wireless (router running dd-wrt.) all the machines have static ip's and everything was working perfectly until i had a power outage last week.

after the outage, all of the sudden i cant reach my network shares or printer via my macbook pro through smb by using the network names. i can however mount them directly by ip. whats up with that?

i tried checking all of my settings, and at a glance they look legit. but whatever the cause is, its slipping through the cracks and is quickly becoming a thorn in my side. ive done a lot of searching but have come up empty so far.

thanks for your attention.

First Reset Your PRAM on that affected Mac. If that doesn't help Reset the SMC.

If neither work open System Preferences->Network pane and at the top of the Network pane use the 'Location' pull down to create and new custom location (calling it what you want). Then in the right side of the pane press the 'apply' button and put in your work network settings.

Also for the printing system open System Preferences->Print & Fax pane And right click in the left pane and select "Reset printing System" to see if that helps with the printers.

Lastly: IMHO you should invest in a battery backup UPS.
