Snow Leopard and Photoshop CS3

While working with Photoshop CS 3 , this program shuts frequently down. I have to save my work after every action. I lost already a lot of work.
Is there a solution?
 
Nope. CS3 is officially unsupported under Snow Leopard. That's not to say that it won't work -- that's simply to say that Adobe does not provide support if you choose to run CS3 under Snow Leopard.

There are known bugs and crashes that happen with CS3 and Snow Leopard, especially when working with open/save dialogs, dragging-and-dropping of pictures on the application icons, etc.

There are no fixes for those bugs, nor will Adobe ever release patches to address those bugs. If you wish to use Mac OS X and Adobe Creative Suite together in a supported fashion, then you will need to do one of two things:

1) Use Snow Leopard and upgrade to CS4.
2) Use CS3 and downgrade back to Leopard.
