Forgive me if I missed the answer to this somewhere.
I'm running Snow Leopard, and I make use of several different Spaces. I find it to be quite annoying that when I close an application, I often get zapped over to another Space. I think it's the Space in which the most-recently-invoked remaining application was opened.
Is there a setting somewhere which will tell Snow Leopard to never auto-switch me to a different Space under any circumstances?
I vaguely remember reading somewhere that we used to have some sort of option like that in an older verson of MacOSX, but that Apple, in its infinite wisdom, removed our ability to turn off this Space auto-switching under Snow Leopard.
I hope that my memory is wrong!
