Snow Leopard printers

I have just upgraded to Snow Leopard and all went well except the printer now won't connect or print.

I have a MacBookPro connected to a Netgear FWG114P router with a Canon S750 connected via the router's Print Server.

All was fine before the upgrade to Snow Leopard. I have tried setting up the printer as IPP or LPD and using the S750 and postscript default printer drivers without success.

Any recommendations? Thanks.

If your printer is connected to a print server, then you must use a CUPS driver. There are hundreds of questions and answers about this issue on this forum. You can find a link to the relevant web sites there.

Thanks! I had already downloaded the Apple drivers, but they didn't work.

Downloaded the Gutenprint 5.2.4 driver set, installed them and selected a CUPS-Gutenprint 5.2.4 for the Canon S800 and it works a treat.
