Hey, I need to design a take-out menu for the restaurant I work at. Is there any program(s) I could use to make it look professional yet not be extremely difficult to do? thanks in advance.

This really depends on how you want your menus to look. You can do simple menus in Text Edit. If you upgrade to Pages, then you can design menus that will pass muster at virtually any restaurant in the country. Word, The Print Shop 2 for Mac, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, or just about any other word processor, page layout app, or graphics editor can also be used. Just about any software title will work. The major limitation is between the keyboard and chair.

You've a 30 days trial perios which must be quite enough to design your menu.
In the "good old times" of Ragtime 5.x, the RagTimeSoloV5.6.4 release of this software was free but limited in some areas.
This specific release is longer available but is still compatible Panther/Tiger but does not run on Intel Macs. If you can find it !
