Software uninstall kills extra mouse buttons?

I recently removed USB Overdrive and xGestures from my G5 (10.4.10) and now I can no longer get the Exposé Preferences to recognize button 3 (wheel) and button 6 on my Logitech Click! mouse. I've tried trashing System and Finder preferences, emptying caches, disabling login items, etc. I wasn't able to find preferences specifically for the Keyboard and Mouse.

Any ideas?
 
Whoops, fixed the problem myself. It turns out you can't just uninstall USB Overdrive by dragging the files to the trash or using AppZapper. The installer places an uninstall program under Utilities.

I found out about this on their website, under Support. There's no Read Me in the package.
 
Wow. Glad that you were able to resolve the issue but surprised that they didn't mention that in the ReadMe. Might be something to inform the developers about.
