Software update not working?

I've just performed a clean install of OS X (10.1.2) and all day today I've been trying to access software update and it keeps saying that my software is up to date.

Is this a known problem at the moment or just me?

I've deleted the prefs in my user/library folder as well to no avail.

it's not your prefs that need deleting. it is your receipts. not sure that is the problem this time though. apple does seem to take off some updates after awhile. however this may have more to do with the recent SWU security problems.

You gotta get on VersionTracker and download the newest version of System Update, the old one was insecure and don't work any more, the new one will work

Thanks. I've had a few answers from a few different people and they've all said it's probably to do with the recent SU update.

I'm just gonna get the 10.1.5 combo updater straight from Apple.
