Sony Spressa and 10.1.2

In the past, Disc Burner and the beta for Toast X recognized my Sony Spressa iLink/FireWire CD Burner. Now, under 10.1.2, it doesn't. I boot into Mac OS 9.2.1 and the drive is recognized under Toast and Disc Burner.

Under Mac OS 10.1.2, the Apple System Profiler reports there aren't any FireWire devices attached.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

you probably need to either re-install toast (original 9x version) or else go to your 9 extensions folder and remove the apple authoring support extensions. Toast authoring support replaces the apple ones. you will probably lose disc burner functionality. you have to choose between one and the other. When you updated your system you put apple extensions back in place that toast had disabled when you installed it.

i know you are stating this as osx question, but at this point toast for x appears to still rely upon certain 9x resources being available to work. I have tried running it without classic but get error messages.
