Lately, perhaps since 10.4.8?, my Safari browser has been acting up, cursor-wise. Hovering over a hyperlink will fail to highlight it (or to bring up previews in forums), the cursor arrow likewise neglecting to switch to the pointing hand. Mouse-clicking on the link will also fail to produce the desired result on the first try (though control-clicking always works fine) sometimes actually bringing up the preview, which then will get stuck there and necessitate a page refresh to make it go away.
This misbehavior has been inconsistent; at the moment Safari is okay but I know it won't be long before it starts flaking out again. Anyway, has anyone else been experiencing this strangeness? And are there any appropriate maintenance operations I might perform to fix things up, without losing all my bookmarks?
