Sound ichat very low

Hello,

The sound of the i-chat application is so low, that i can heardly hear anything. In the controlpanel sound is maximum. Also the i-tunes sound is quit low. My pc with the same speakers are much louder.

Is there a 'hidden' sound block?

For iChat, make sure that your sound is set to maximum in the iChat preferences (under alerts, speech volume).
Also, make sure that the system volume is set high, using the System Preferences application.
What kind of speakers are you using, and what kind of mac?
