Apols if corn, but wanting to play new iMac thru mixer (headphone output) and digital speakers (as monitor) simultaneously. Headphones (mixer) socket cuts out the speakers. Any advice?

Also - wanna use the VGA socket as output to TV for downloads etc. What is required, can I go viz existing VGA socket?

Get an "Apple Video Adaptor" available for around CDN$30 (so around 20 quid I'd say). It plugs into the ADC and has an RCA and SVideo out.

It doesn't work on my TV for some reason, I get a scrambled image; but I think it might be because I have a TV/VCR single unit TV and it's come kind of DVD copy protection (like the PS/2 has).

As for the mixer, can you not monitor through your mixer instead of through your iMac? I've heard of a lot of people who experience a time-lag from the digital out (and iSub/ProSpeakers out of synch), which you won't notice if it's your only output device, but if you have two...
