Hey guys, it's me again :-)

You know, the iBook motherboard messed, got it fixed but CD's wouldn't install guy...

Anyway. I got 10.3 and now I am up and running again, however, my sound is all messed up!

Not sure why at all. When I play something in iTunes for example, it just comes out sputtering. this happens with all other applications as well.

Any idea on what could be causing this, or how to fix?

I hope it won't require a reinstall of the OS, but I can't think of anything else to try myself...
 
How about a more general questions, has anyone had any problems with sound on their machine before? If so, how did you solve it?
 
errr.....i have no idea of any resolution for this or troubleshooting method besides a clean install of your operating system. Hate it when i have to say that.
 
Ouch.
Hrm... I'll have to call Apple Support and get their opinion too. that would suck. :-) Spent the past two days restoring all my old crap!

Um. What is the number for apple support in the US? (I'm in NC now! got in yesterday.)
