Speed Download crashing

Hey all,
I hope I'm in the right section this time

I've downloaded the Speed Download 5 a month ago and can't seem to get it to work. It crashes on opening.

A friend told me to look for a file speeddownload.prefs, move it to a temp file on my desk and that the application will create a new one automatically.

Any suggestions?

I can't even find a file by that name!
