Speed of X on PowerBook 292/Wall Street

I'm thinking about going to X to play with on my Wall Street 292. Acually, it thinks it is a 350, at least that is what the profilers say. Weird...

What are the current stories on the speed of X in general? Should I just wait for my new computer? :confused:

If it's a 350, it will run fine. I have used a 366 iBook with OS X PB on it, and it was reasonable. It would be even faster on 10.0.4, so go ahead.
 
Forgot to mention, I have 192 megs of RAM.

Another question. Is ram from the Wall Street series compatible with the TiBooks? I'm thinking about getting more, but I'm getting a TiBook at the end of the summer too.
