Spotlight search

How can I search all type of files in Spotlight ? It seems that it only searches on common file typex. How can I change that as I can in Win Xp.

How can I narrow the results using spotlight ("spotdark"). Let me Explain. I try to find in my docs the name "Donald Duck" and I have at least 40 docs as result with spotlight(spl), when this name is only in one doc. The thing that happens is:
1-spl looks for Donald and for Duck as separated words.
2-spl looks for Don and for Duc.

It should be a option like "whole word", "case sensitive", "use regex", etc.

I need help urgent.

Try NotLight. It's a very nice front end for SpotLight.

Or another alternative is FileSpot, I've owned it since the beginning when it was Moru.
