Since the WWDC developers version of Panther is released into the wild, this thing seems to be spreading like the subject matter above (how, I don't know )...
Anyway, surely many more features must have been held back by Apple IMHO since, if this thing is out as a beta version from now until possibly December, the world and his wife are gonna have it, and get used to it.
Which means Apple needs a good incentive for people to purchase something which is essentially usable as is (although it should only be in the hands of 3500 developers).
Then again, maybe they want to probe reactions to features as the brushed metal finder etc. (ala public beta 10.0, where the Apple logo moved back to it's original position after an outcry).
