Spring-loading still screwed up in 10.2.1

Spring-loading still does not work correctly in 10.2.1. I have Finder set to always open in column view, and not open a new window. If I drag a file in column view to a folder farther to the left in the columns, say from my home directory to /Library, it will open a new Finder window, and in ICON view! Dragging a file to one of the toolbar icons, like Applications, will open new Finder window in column view. Dragging a file from the desktop to a folder in column view will actually expand the folder into the next column in the same Finder windows. THAT is how I think it should work with my Finder prefs.

Yeah, I really wish the spring loaded folders feature would let you dig through the column view, and then immediately return you to the column you were in once you drop the file. Now that would be perfect. It sounds like that's what Apple is working on, but it's not quite perfect yet.
