sql and php (and macworld forums)??

I have a forum set up at:

and it works great a while, then all of a sudden, dont work. I think im having file corruption errors, sql database problems.

My question is:

is this typical, or normal?

does macworld have similar issues with this board?

Or, am I just having back luck?

seems to me that having these boards requires lots of tweaking and maintenance.... and requires persons with sql programming skills.??
