SSH and telnet?

There's probably a simple way to do this, but how would I enable normal telnet access in OS X? The default SSH is great when I'm at a computer with an SSH client, but it's a hassle to go find the proper client if I just need to do something quick and simple. Where can telnet be enabled to run along side SSH?
