SSH, Fink & 10.1.3

If I have OpenSSH 2.9p2 installed via fink, what will happen when I update to 10.1.3? Will this get replaced, or are they in different places and I'll end up with both?

fink's default is to place everything it installs into /sw, so as to avoid stepping on "normal" system files. Unless you changed this, you'll end up with both installed. Which one gets used when you type "ssh" depends upon your $PATH.

Whichever one your mac starts up with (probably apple's). Both clients may exist, but the server, sshd, is going to be apple's.

BTW, anyone else having trouble sshing to FreeBSD computers since upgrading to 10.1.3?

No problems going to OpenBSD from 10.1.3; what does ssh -v -v say to your FBSD?
