Ok here's my application. I would like to start MySQL from a Finder icon, rather than having to open the terminal shell and type in the command myself, and I don't want it to start at system boot, necessarily.
Is there a way to do this?
Someone's probably going to say, Yes CGI dummy! And then I'll try to pull my feet out of my mouth. BUT, how do I go about writing a CGI that is executable from any folder in the Finder (777 I guess) as an application?
Will AppleScript do this in an eaiser way?
Thanks all!
