Startup from Panther partition

I am planning to install Panther on another partition or even on another HD. Currently I am running OS 9.1! I wonder how to startup from another (Panther) partition or harddisk. Will Panther allow me to install in on a slave HD???

sure!
You can change your boot-os within the system preferences or just press alt (and hold it) during startup

ALT will do what?.. Ask me what system I wanna boot from??

Oops! Sorry for double post.
Something weird with the server.
alt gives you the option which os to boot from. it will find all bootable systems and allow you to choose
