Startup Probleam

My PMG5 never star at first time every day.

i power up this incredibel machine every day at same time at 9 PM at work and it dont do that startup ring or noise and it just freez at the circule loading the osx and i have to prees the power button to restart the G5 once and once again to startup correctly.

i have gone to an apple store her in portugal and they replaçe the hard drive and memorys but it just keep doing the same every day and they cant solve my probleam.

Courious fact is that it only appens first time that i turn on the g5 in the day if i restart the g5 after i have manage to enter the systeam it dont appen

Hi,

I have the same problem with my old Power Mac 7200. In my case it's definitely one of my memory modules. I didn't change it though, since I don't use the old mache too often and the old memory modules are incredibly expensive.

Maybe your store should give it another try with some other memory modules (also try out another manufacturer)
