StartupItem Folder?

look in ~/System/Library

sometimes one is created in ~/Library as well for some apps.
 
If you want it to run on startup, as apposed to when you log in, the following may be useful to you:

/System/Library/StartupItems/ <-- System-specific startup items

/Library/StartupItems <-- User and thrid-party startup items

There's a howto on opendarwin.org for creating your own startup items, I recomend reading it, and then starting by duplicating an existing startup item.

BTW, if /Library/StartupItems doesn't exist, don't worry :) just create it :)
