Status bar or gadget

Hi...

Have somebody seen the Conectix Virtual PC Toolbar?

I would like to get a Mac software that lets me know the network, or hard drive, or USB, or fire wire status. Thats because the ibook hasnt leds anywhere to let you know status.

My ibook has the MacOS X Panther... so the so called "Gadgets", don´t work here.

I'm going to make my usual recommendation of a program called MenuMeters... It provides various graphs and status icons for disk activity, network activity, processor activity, and RAM usage. And it's FREE.
