All the sudden one day after my machine woke up from sleeping my mouse and keyboard became very sticky. I have to hold down the keyboard keys for a long time to get them to respond. The mouse also skipps across the screen. When I use an external mouse there is no problem. Any Ideas? I just re-installed the os and to no avail. Thanks, Matthew

You'll find the 'sticky keys' option may be turned on, in your Universal access preference pane. If you turn OFF the various options in that pane, your system should be back to normal key response.
The 'Shift 5 times' tip will not work unless you also have that option selected in that same pref pane.
