I take maybe 5-7 photos a day with my digital camera. It's just fun. 
Anytime I want to just take a few of the good photos off the camera I'll pop out my memory card and put it into a external memory stick reader.
When the card is read, iPhoto will open automatically. Which be fine if I wanted to import everything but it just gets in my way when all I want to do is take off a few pictures manually. So how can tell iPhoto to stay still so I don't to close the thing every time a memory stick is read? There is most likely a simple solution to this but I haven't been able to find it myself yet.
