Strange Characters on Web Pages

The problem is clearly with single and double curly quote punctuation marks. Can you link me to a site where this is happening?

Pull down the View menu and change the text encoding. Using Unicode will likely fix the problem. If the browser is already set to use Unicode, change to Western.

The issue shows up for me on http://mac.alltop.com/ under the appletell section. I have tried to change text encoding with no success.

Here's a question for you, What font does Firefox use by default. I changed it to Optima, but I don't remember the default font. If I can change it back, maybe it will solve the problem.

Thanks!

I doubt that changing the font family will help, however I have Firefox set to allow pages to set their own fonts. The default sans serif font I have is Helvetica. On that page, I changed my character encoding to Western (ISO-8859-1), and the strange character disappeared.
