Stupid question about *nix apps compatibility

I might get a Powerbook very soon and I want to be able to run some Linux apps on it. Can you run AirSnort, NetStumbler, and Kismet on Mac OS X?

TIA

As far as running kismet goes, you might be able to get it built, but since nobody has figured out how to get Airport cards into monitor mode, it wouldn't be very useful. I hope someone figures it out, because that would make for some good war driving. He he.

I think it is time apple releases their AirPort card info...It isn't like nobody has the technology as it is.

I don't think you can use ANYTHING. I thought stuff specifically compiled for Intel processors wouldn't work. The same as they wouldn't on LinuxPPC.
