and I had only 890 megs of free space. I chose typical install and guess what? It took only 800 megs. I was also scared about the memory requirement, but it turns out that 96 megs slow you down only if you want to run classic apps intensively!

Cool thing this MacOS X. 'twas a breeze to set up, too!

Microsoft Internyet Exploder is extremely fast, too. Faster than Netscape on MacOS 9.

Sounds cool! Me myself has a rev. B iMac with 64 meg. You think it'll work?

I checked the memory occupation and kernel takes abour 16 megs, desktop takes about 16 megs and carbon app loader (LaunchCFMApp) takes around 30 megs of RAM...
So, your hard drive will turn into a toast from all the VM accesses :)
Better upgrade your Mac soon.
