Sudo no longer requires password

I just noticed something quite scary - for some reason sudo no longer asks for a password on my machine.

The root password hasn't been activated - I cant su - but now I can do any sudo commands and it never asks for my admin password. I don't know how long this has been like this, I never deliberately set it myself. :(

I can't think what could've done this.

Any ideas? How to fix it?

check the /etc/sudoers file to see who is allowed
first off.

then do an 'id' to see if you are in fact in teh
same group or whatever. If you are, then
sudo is correct.

Thanks for the help, but the problem just fixed itself.

I realise that sudo has a timestamp thing, but this was not asking even after a logout, or a reboot (that's not right, is it?)

But then today, it's back to how it was before. Weird.

Thanks anyway.

*whew* Thanks.

I was getting a bit worried for a sec there. I guess it was just a fluke that I kept checking within the timestamp.

Thanks for the info!
