I want to move items to the trash and I get a message that I, can't what can I do? Also I now would like to do a, 'clean install' how do I do It? Cheers, Bill

Well, you can use a tool like Onyx to do a permission repair.

If you want to do a fresh install then what you need to do is put the Mac OSX cd in your cd rom and restart your computer while holding the "c" button. After that you can follow the instructions in the setup.
