SW update seems broke

Hello,

I made the mistake of categorizing my applications into sub-directories; like I have always done. SW update will not see the application unless it is in the original installed location!

I discovered this when the IE update would not become available until I moved IE into the root of the apps folder.

Windblows gives the user a warning that an application may break by moving it. If Apple will allow users to place apps where they want them, then the SW update system has to be a little smarter.

Has anyone seen this? Come up with a good solution?
