I have a PB G4 running OS 10.4.2 and a Samsung E715 phone (GS). I bought a USB to serial cable to connect it. I was told by the manufacturer of the cable that OSX doesn't require any drivers, but the phone doesn't mount on the desktop. I downloaded bitpim, which sensed the phone on the USB port but said it couuldn't access it because a device driver was missing. Then I was told bitpim is just for CDMA phones. Any advice?
