I have a Sony/Ericsson cellphone that I sync to my G5 via Bluetooth and iSync. All my current Macs (G5, G4, G3 iMac) are synced to each other via iSync and my .mac account.
My question is, is there any downside to syncing my cellphone to multiple Macs? I'm planning on purchasing a 17" MacBook Pro sometime next month, and I'd like to have the option of syncing the cellphone to either the MacBook or the G5 depending on which is most convenient at the time. Do I run the risk of getting everything out of sync? Or do I merely need to be careful not to sync the phone to one Mac and then another before the Macs are synced to each other? And is anything worse than having a synchronization conflict likely to happen?
