system clock in 24hr format?

i am looking to change the osX system clock that is in the menu bar to a 12 hour format instead of the 24 hour format it is in now.

i can't seem to find any settings for this in the clock control panel.

help - i am not in the army and don't want military time anymore

from System Prefs -> International -> Time and there check that 12-Hour Clock radiobutton instead of 24-Hour Clock (this is how it's in 10.1.5 anyway...dunno bout Jag, prolly the same)
