System Install Problem..!!!

Oh the curse of downloading too many unix tinkerers!!!! I am trying to reinstall my system, however on going through the installer, and it gets to the screen to select a disk, my hard disk is dimmed and the message " This disk is dimmed because this MACOSX CD installs differant languages"

Now this is the disk I used in the first place. I did use one of those utilities to delete all the extra languages, that is said would free up stacks of space on my hard-drive. I wonder if that is to blame.

What can I do????

I would backup the data that you want to save, wipe the drive and do it clean.

That's the quickest answer.

Oh, and don't tinker if your data matters to you. Always tinker on a machine where it doesn't mean jack.
