System Preferences >> Displays - Shows Up Blank

When I try to change my display settings through system preferences, I see "loading displays" for a bit, then when it finally loads, all I get is a blank page, exactly like this: http://forum.macosx.nl/album_page.php?pic_id=1302 . I have a powermac g4 with a 450 MHz processor, and the CRT display that goes with it. All the other system preferences options work.

Users/yourusername/Library/Caches.
Delete the file com.apple.preferencepanes.cache and try.

Delete com.apple.preference.displays.xxxxxxx.plist located in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ByHost/ folder. The "xxxxxxx" refers to a number that will appear the value of which is not relevant. If you find more than one such plist file delete them all.
