Hi all

I cleaned my mac yesterday using ONYX. I only cleaned otipns automatically suggested by mac. After restarting the desktop background went back to it's original plain blue screen. I wanted to change it fir my personal photo. I tried to go to system preferences in apple menu, but it just wouldn't display! I tried via spotlight- it showed there but after clicking on it it still wouldn't display it! Any ideas what happened, or what i did wrong, and most importantly how to restore it!!

Please help! Cheers all

Would you mind elaborating on what specific problem you were experiencing with your Mac that you were trying to solve by running Onyx?

"Cleaning a Mac" is something that is completely unneccessary. Mac OS X does not need any kind of "help" from the user in keeping itself "clean." All routines that manage maintenance and scheduled optimization routines run themselves automatically, when they're needed. Manually running them or forcing them to run without any kind of probable cause can lead to the problems you're experiencing. It's best to let OS X be OS X and not "help" it out in any fashion.

If you can elaborate on the problem you were trying to tackle, we may be able to figure out what's wrong.
