System Profiler Data Inventory

I support about 5-60 macs in an enterprise environment. I recently compileed an inventory of all of our macs by exporting the system profiler data from each mac. Is it possible to build a searchable database from this data? I have tried exporting the xml to Excell and Access with limited results.

I don't know how "savvy" you are, but you could use PHP and a web server (any Mac with OS X qualifies) to write a script to search through the XML files using your browser.

I have started kinda playing with that; I have been experimenting with MySQL etc., but I have just been searching for an out-of-the-box solution, that's all!
