Two months ago I bought a Titanium PowerBook G4/867 15" and it has been working great. However there is one thing that I find puzzleing. On two occasions when i started up the TBook in the morning, the screen, at the end of the startup process ended up being very dim, just barely bright enough to distinguish the icons and menu bar on the desktop. When I went to System Preferences and selected the Display icon I found the slider bar which controls the display's brightness to be almost all the way to the left. After moving it all the way up to the right, the display retained its normal brightness and everything was fine after that. However, I can't understand how the brightnerss control was lowered as I never did it myself. It has only happened twice and has never happened when the mac was in sleep modeonly after it was shut down over night. Any ideas? Was i doing something that I was unaware of?
