TechTool Pro 4 eDrive not working

I have installed TechToolPro 4.0.1 on a new 20-inch iMac and have created an eDrive, but when I go to boot from the eDrive from TTPs eDrive Restart button it just boots the iMac's normal drive. I then restarted holding down the OPTION button but just the hard drive shows up and not the eDrive. Anyone else experiencing this or have a fix?

My system consists of 20-inch iMac, 1GB RAM and single-partition 80GB drive.

I would contact Micromat tech support about this and report as a bug, or see if they have a solution.

Hello

I've been waiting since May28 , 2003 for the "4" version which was promised after I purchased"3" . Perhaps its good I have not received the update .

This was an extremely worthwhile wait for such an excellent program. I'm glad they delayed the release until after they had Panther support. The one hiccup I had with the iMac and eDrive does not diminish the programs usefulness as it's features are much better and more robust than any previous version.

Micromat's tech support is also excellent and are working with me through a fix of my problem.

Thanks for your information . Yes , You are correct 3 Version helped me several times to discover an ethernet connection problem . So , I'll bide my time and wait til they mail the disk . The last message I received was they are attempting that this month .
Oh , I might add I've delayed installing Panther and am running Jaguar .
