increasing the size of an itune library
How to all,
I'm a new comer to the forum.
I have a file containing +- 990 mp3 songs, when I try to transfer the songs to a an Itune library, it will only accept 679 songs. How do I icrease the song capacity of the I tune library?.
Thanks
Teddy

There really isn't a limit to the size of the iTunes Music Library (if so, it's something ungodly, like 100,000 songs)... perhaps the ~220 songs that won't import are corrupted or something?

Do the files that do NOT import correctly play OK with QuickTime Player? Are these standard MP3 files, or are they somehow unique (very large in size, very long songs, very low or high bitrate, etc.)?

Most likely you do not have enough space on your hard disk drive to accomodate all these songs.

To find out how much space you have free, select your hard disk drive on the desktop and choose Fil -> Get Info. Then, to find out how much space these Mp3's require, select their file and do the same thing. If the songs won't fit, then that would explain why they can't all be copied into your iTunes library.
