My PowerMac don't have airport and don't have internet, it's with 10.1.4 at current, but last night it suddenly launched Software Updater and found that 10.1.5 was released...since it had NO WAY of knowing this, I'm wondering, is there something creepy with my Mac?
 
Look in your System Preferences Panel. Click on the software update panel. Is it set up to launch Automatically? You can set it to manual if you like. If it is set up automatically, it will launch automatically within the time frame selected and look for any ne updates. If there are none, it will do nothing. If there are updates, it will automatically launch and ask if you want to install. Cool Huh?

Nono, the fact that it launched didn't scare me, what scares me is that it found 10.1.5 as an update without having any contact to the net(and it haven't had so since before 10.1.5 came)

How the hell did it find 10.1.5?
 
This *does* sound creepy. However, I believe you *have* been connected to the net somehow. Simply Sherlock Holmes.
 
I was connected, my Draytek router which not even the guys at Draytek have got to work, finally decided to co-operate...a month after I stopped trying...now, how do you dis-connect this thing?
