What macosx.com members like to watch on TV or listen to on the Radio(besides music), I personally find most or all sitcom not funny and dumb

so i usually watch

Insomniac
Sportscenter
NFL football
PGA Golf
Behind the Music (of good bands)
SouthPark
The Daily Show

Listen to
Loveline
 
I dislike both TV and Radio. Ocassionally I'll listen to iTunes Radio, and every-so-often I'll watch some TV. Only these shows though:

The Drew Carey Show
The Restaurant
*any skateboard shows

I hardly ever watch TV, and when I do it's mostly because someone else is watching something and I start watching whatever it is.

Um...only thing I listen to on the radio besides music is Howard Stern. :D

(and I really don't listen to music much anymore, either, I mostly play my iPod. :))
 
Radio most of the time. Local Talk and others. Television is just for History Channel, TLC, Discovery, SciFi and Cartoon Network.
 
I mostly just listen to music, unless there's a program on like Hard Drive or Rockline. I watch late night talk shows, The Simpsons, Friends, Alias, 24, That 70s Show sometimes, Will & Grace sometimes, and other stuff (none of that reality shit, though).
 
I am not a huge fan of TV. Although I will watch Formula One, some Baseball and shows like Whose Line is it Anyway?
 
I like having TV, but really only watch when I don't have anything better to do. Again, the radio is great - I don't know what I would do if I didn't know what everyone else was buying via those great commercials, but I do listen to it in the car and when I am going to sleep mainly because I lake a decent method to hook my iPod up to my car or old, cheap, stereo.
 
oh yeah i forgot to mention Enterprise, which i have been trying to watch, The original series was the best with Nimoy and Shatner though

Miami Vice is up there too:D
 
oh come on, no one listens to sightings of coast to coast AM?? (they are so much fun to listen to but sometimes some of the conspirators make me REALLY angry)
 
Yeah, I forgot Enterprise, too, even though it was just on. I watch a number of shows, but not that many regularly. Also SNL I watch regularly
 
Enterprise is the only show I watch on a regular basis... okay, it is the only show I watch. Otherwise I watch videos and DVDs on my SGI while working or old movies on AMC. As for radio, pretty much just npr/mpr.
 
Radio:

I like to listen to NPR radio (public radio) in the morning and evening for news. During the day I like jazz, classical, some pop/rock, but it depends on the artists. Just a few weeks ago an independent (non-Cummulus conglomerate) radio station started playing dance music. It's not too bad, some songs are OK, othes are just as bad as rap/heavy metal - yick.

Television:

Star Trek, David Letterman, Frasure, Public Broadcasting System. I don't have cable or satelite, so I'm limited to public television, otherwise I'd probably watch Discovery/Learning Channel quite a bit.

I watch news. And 24 mondays. And even a movie now and then. You know, I live in communist land, where we have a TV channel subsidized by the state, hence no commercials.

No radio for me. I'm the visual type ;)
 
I watch TechTV. But there isn't that much Mac stuff on there. I love hearing internet radio stations like Radiostorm Alternative. I live in Ontario in Canada so I listen to 101.1XFM. I like anything that's live. Except for hockey. Cause hockey not live would just be dumb.
 
I don't have TV. I occasionally watch it when visiting my parents (I somtimes need it for studies, watching videos and the such).

I listen to radio all day: it wakes me up, I eat with it, I listen to it at night. I listen to radio at least 2 hours a day, mainly France Info and France Culture (both channels are what they mean, huh). I also listen to radio on the Web: NPR, radio archives...

Swiss people, German people, French people, you may know www.couleur3.ch . I love it ! I listen to music all day, but never on radio - except on this one. Trance Escape !
 
i watch tv rarely. i prefer the movies. then sometimes some soccer, mostly in the spanish speaking channels. nada mas.

i dont like radio either. i cant stand any more indian music, someone at work has had now 2 days one indian music cd or cassette that i can't really stand anymore. normally i use just my ipod or itunes radios ... something like ambient, classical music, trance, heavy etc.
 
Movies (mostly DVD), Internet, magazines, books, mp3/mp4!

TV maybe with Satellite access sometime next year... Standard TV channels and Filmnet are SOOOO boring ::sleepy::

Radio? Ppppplease! :rolleyes:

Newspapers? The same! :p

I agree with hulkaros - Greek newspapers (12 daily newspapers) stink. :p And the TV, the Greek TV... :eek: :eek: :eek: Watched it 10 minutes at the hotel, never saw so much ads. More ads than TV programs, in fact. Unless the ads ARE the program.
